Description:	A tall young woman stands before you confidently. Her skin is white, but tanned from the sun. Her light auburn hair is styled messily with small braids through out and pulled back into a quick pony tail. Shorter pieces of hair framing her face from bangs that were never maintained. Her skin is freckled from the sun shine. She has large light blue eyes, and rosey pink lips. She has a strong jaw line. Her body is toned and she has moderate body mass.
Background:	Karen Fortune comes from a large family in a small fishing village. Her family is known in their town for own 'Fortune's Nets' which produce high quality fishing nets. One evening while working in the shop, bandits tried to enter the workroom. Unarmed and unskilled Karen stood frozen in fear. Moments after the bandits came tumbling through a window and running the room, another man, Master Ruthan, jumped through and tackled him to the ground. Unknown to Karen, he had already taken out 10 bandits outside and this one had been trying to escape. Amazed, Karen insisted that Master Ruthan take her with him and allow her to be his apprentice. After some convincing he agreed to take the young bright eyed girl with him. Master Ruthan was a part of a mercenaries guild, and Karen joined as soon as she could. She got incredible lessons from Master Ruthan, and she couldn't wait to be allowed to go on her own missions. Before she was skilled enough to go on a mission the group disbanded, for reasons unknown to her. Armed with the skills for the trade, and strong personality, she decided to become a freelance mercenary instead. Becoming the best swordsman to make her mentors proud is her ultimate goal.
